Privacy policy

Nothing about you.

  • No cookies, so there’s no cookie banner to click away. Nothing is stored in your browser except what your browser caches by itself.
  • No accounts, comments or forms, and no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There are no ads (ads.txt says so too).
  • Nothing loads from other sites. Every page, picture and script comes from blog.jacq.cc, so no third party sees you open a page.
  • Search stays in your browser. The search box uses Pagefind, which downloads a small index of the site, so what you type never leaves your browser.
  • Cloudflare delivers the pages. It keeps copies of them so a busy day doesn’t swamp a home internet connection. Like any network that carries a request, it sees your IP address. It counts visits as totals (pages, countries, browser types), and those totals are all I look at. How Cloudflare handles that data: its privacy policy.
  • The home server behind it sees only Cloudflare’s addresses, not yours.

This site doesn’t collect, store or share personal information, so there’s nothing about you to look up, correct, export or delete. Cloudflare’s part is covered by its own policy above.

If this ever changes, this page changes first.
